I know I’m late to this story, but how is it that a church can turn away a couple, explicitly say that they’re doing so because of race, and get away with it in 2012?
How is it that something like this - which is often defended as exercising one’s right to religious freedom - can happen in the same country where Muslims are struggling to get approval to build their own places of worship?
This … this right here, is the problem with organized religion.
