So National Security Minister Jack Warner is looking to acquire shares of the TnT Mirror and Trinidad Newsday.

I feel two ways about this:

1. The media isn’t all that free and impartial and principled to begin with, so I’m not inclined to go into a panic over the fact that a minister would be part owner of two formerly “uninfluenced” media houses. So long as full disclosure is involved so the public can decide how to view the “news” they report. Like CNMG, for instance.

2. OMG, Jack Warner is taking over this country. *trembles*
